I have a 2yr snoodle and she has a seperation problem when I leave for work. She hides under bed and won't come out ,so I have to pretend the someone is at our door and then when she goes out in the yard she won't come in and I have to chase her until I trick her. This goes on every morning. She doe not do it at any other time. She also follows me everywhere, which is fine but, she has a seperation problem, How can I break her from this ?? I 'm up for any suggestions. HELP Thank You

I don't have a solution, but see if you can find a dog behaviorist person to help you out! What sometimes works with parrots is if you start in short increments, and say some sort of cue word whenever you leave the door or are getting ready to leave. For starts, say the cue word, then leave the house. Come back in a minute or so and say "I"m home" or whatever, then give her a treat. The point is to let her know you'll always come back and won't leave her. Then if she gets comfortable with that, you can increase the time you're gone. So for instance next say the word, leave for 3 minutes, come back and say "I'm home", then give her a treat. Just make sure you always say the same thing when you're about ready to leave and when you come home. I don't know if this would work or not, but just a thought.

How cute. I know how hard it is. My 2 dogs are rescues too. My dog Goddi, is a pitbull and needs my full attention all the time. Its so tireing. But I have a bad feeling I did it to them. I babied them to no end. Always thinking of what had happened to them. So these things I have to fix. Its very hard when my pit is always sitting on my lap and I can't breath. He really thinks he is a lap dog!!!At first we would laugh and think "how" cute. later its not. ): When I get up to go to the toilet, he throws a fit to come in with me. I tell him no, so forth and so on. He crys, and scratches on the door. What a pain he can be.Then he will look at me with this such funny look I can't help but love him sooooooo much. But ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. We have to fix what we did.

Oh my goodness, how does a pitbull possibly fit itself into your lap - LOL. Our golden will sometimes annoy the cat to the point she will get of her spot on the couch and leave the room - Amber will then jump up - circle around and try to fit into the spot the cat has left. The look on her face when she can't manage to fit in the spot is just hilarious!

LOL. He can't fit into my lap. He just keeps trying and looking at me. SOOO funny. He does the same to buddys bed. He annoys him till he would get out of his bed, and try to sleep in this tiny little bed made for a little tiny dog, like buddy. He will circle around till his big body fits on the rim of the bed. We laugh so hard, now he ripped the bed appart and now he lays on the rim!!!!!!!!!!What a big dope he is LOL.
