Last night, we were sitting at the table and heard Hedwig (Goffin) say softly "hello....hello?", then a few minutes later he said it a little louder..."Hello...Hello?". We turned to look at him and he was stuck upside down in a hole in his sheet LOL. We about died laughing. I got him unstuck and he bounced around on the top of his cage laughing too. it was a riot!. We are still laughing about it!. Never a dull moment around here..... LOL

what a character! what a healthy birdy that he is able to play all by himself in his cage and not demand to be on you at all times(:

Hi Jan,
You have me so curious now, why do have a sheet inside the cage? I'm forever looking at what cages have for ideas. It looks like it could be used for a hammock?
At first I thought you put the picture in upside down. Hedwig's wonderful!

Actually, he was still out of his cage at that time. His cage opens at the top. We cover the top of his cage with his sheet (while the cage is still open so he can still be out playing) when he gets in one of his screaming moods and this quiets him down because he has such a good time tearing holes in it!. He just happened to end up stuck upside down in one of the holes and was hanging inside his cage.. I guess using it as a hammock LOL. We're still laughing about it!. What a nut!.

Thanks for that joyful mental vision. I was also curious because Perky loves paper towels and will dart in and out of them like a little bull. It cracks me me up everytime. I always have paper towels at the bottom of her cage (often replaced when soiled).
