My kitty loves to eat paper and tear up one of my rooms. She is six months old and her name is Clancey and she is inside kitty and I have older cat which I can not put them together at all. Is this normal for kitty to act this way my other to cat's never did this.

Yes ; there is usually one in every bunch !! Ours is Gracie !! She runs at top speed from the bedroom to the livingroom to the bathroom in the tub then out ! ~ back to the kitchen then into the bedroom then back to the bathroom........ Well you get the idea !! We have kitty Nascar daily !! At times I wish I had a velcro dot on her butt so I could just stick her somewhere !! I Thank God I don't have a fancy chandalier....she would be swinging from it !! I woke one morning to find Art Supplies all over the Apartment. I guess she was getting creative as I slept !! ?? I hang my purse up high so she cannot get things out of it !! I also hide my dryer sheets in the laundry room or we would have bounce sheets all over ! I cannot let anything out or it is considered Gracie's property . The worst part is my other little one is starting to mock her ! She doesn't seem to mind the water gun.....but hates puffs of air. So I am planning to comb Toys R Us to see what they got !! Maybe I can slow her down some.....""MAYBE"" She torments our older one Jellybean..... So I have to watch her pretty close. She acts like she has been drinking from the tap at Starbucks ( Lots of caffiene & lots of sugar ) :D She doesn't get either.... So; Your not the only one !!! If I can figure out a trick to getting her calmed down...I'll be sure to let you know !!
PS; Lee Kilgore has a Wild Child too .... She's on this board ( Her Baby is Awgee !!! Hi Awgee !!!

:) I have just lost one of my favorite kitties in April and it was quite hard on me she was 13 and became quickly ill and I had no choice to put her down. So I had her creamated. So that's why I got another and she is so different them my others kitties. She does have mind of her own and likes to be in control of everything. The only thing is she has claws and my other ones does not and I have to slowly get them together some day.

I'm sure this one will become buddies but needs a little TLC. I just got back from Taking Gracie to the Park. We put a harness & leash on her and take her to the park. We had a few errands too. She is now so calm it doesn't seem like Gracie !! We lost 2 kitties due to our fire ....we are not sure if the other 2 made it out or not. Jellybean made the jump with us from a second story balcony. He's now 15 yrs old his birthday we celebrate Oct. 31 The fire happened Jan 1 of this year. I was not very Gung ho about adopting again at least for awhile.....Then come April 1 a friend called desperate to find homes for a litter that was abandoned in her back yard. ( Gracie came home with us at approx 3 to 4 weeks of age and I bottle fed her and got her up and going ) She was nothing like my other 2 we lost either. She is a handful and then some !! She tormented the crap out of Old Jellybean and he was in no mood to deal......By the time she was up and running at full speed I thought I'd surely have to take her to a farm. She has calmed down some after she was fixed !! Thank Goodness !! But she still has energy to burn ! After a few more weeks of her tormenting Jellybean & me playing Referee I rescued MI-CHOW from the Humane Society. ((( THIS COMING FROM SOMEONE THAT WAS NOT READY TO ADOPT MORE !!)) I was walking again after injuries from the fire, Hubby was back walking . Our Anniversary rolled around and he asked what I wanted. I told him a New foot / ankle which I injured. About another week went by and Hubby asked again what I wanted. I was on Petfinders and saw MI-CHOW listed at the humane society.
I told my husband I wanted this Skinny kitten with huge blue eyes !! The Humane Society did adoptions at the local petsmart. I was the first there !!!
We hung out a few hours for the Humane Society to show up. I was determined to stay and wait. Finally MI-CHOW came in.....there was another with him but another person was willing to take other kitten. MI-CHOW was more skinny and looked like he needed to grow into his skin.
So here I am with all 3 !!! I'm glad I did take them both Gracie & MI-CHOW. They are Nothing like the ones I lost !!! BUT ; I think that's a good thing too. I can never replace the ones I lost.....But I can spoil the ones I have !! Gracie is coming around, She is My Wild Child !!! She has energy & personality to burn !! Sometimes it's not the cat that needs to adjust.....but it's us that needs to adjust to the cat !! LOL Gracie & I have a long way to go......But I LOVE her Dearly. I got kitty kisses on my forehead this morning THAT WAS A FIRST FROM GRACIE !! Hopefully after your new addition has been spayed / Neutered and maybe declawed ..... this New Wild Child will settle in for you !! Good Luck with your New Addition and just LOVE her for who she is !! I wish I could Bottle that energy they have !! :D
