Hi rcirka,
She is a beautiful bird. I really love Cockatoo's. If I didn't live in a apartment I would get one. I don't think my neighbors would like all the squawking. Is she a squawker? Anyhow again she is really beautiful. Thanks for the pic.

He doesn't really squawk(not like a conure anyways), just chirps loudly. I live on the 2nd floor of an apartment and haven't received any complaints from the first floor about him. My landlord generally doesn't allow pets but he allowed my bird.

to those qestioning noise.
The rose breased cockatoo is a lot different than the white one's.
They aren't as loud or as likely to pick feathers.

To anyone with rose-breasted cockatoos, do you have a hard time keeping yours from becoming obese? I've heard that tha'ts a problem with them, though I know that any pet bird is more likely to get fat since it doesnt' have to climb and fly miles a day.

Is it true they aren't as hard to handle and are quieter and less destructive than the other cockatoos. Are they closer in personality to the Goffins?

Here is a short video (http://stompbox.dhs.org/~rcirka/bird/bird%20video.avi) of my bird. Its 22.4mb in size. My friend has a professional digital camcorder so the quality is pretty good :) You'll need a divx codec (http://www.divx.com/divx/) to view it.
