Very sick bird

Hi there, we found a black faced lovebird outside and he looks very sick, he has no tail, seems to be deaf, has a bad limp, and he seems to keep dosing off then snaping back awake, the breathing is iregular.......the list just goes on! I called the vet and it would cost me about 120.00(cdn)for the bird to see him. Thats not somthing I can afford for a sick bird I just found, I need that cash for my own birds Incase somthing happens to them. Does anyone know what i should do with him?

this is the first time reading this post, who knows how long it had been outside, I'm sure it was rough.
take comfort in knowing you found him even if it was at the end. ((((hugs)))

I am going to assume that it was outside for at least a day. Its not to cold here right now, we had tried for 3 days to fix him ourselves to no Avail. So we tried here. But it may have been attacked or abandoned, he is a much better place and no longer in pain. We even tried to use our other lovebirds
by showing them each other (obviously through glass as we had no idea why he was ill) It perked up a little bit, just not enough!

I wonder if maybe it got attacked but a cat or something. No tail and a limp? It's possible. So sorry to hear it passed.
