Hi Diane, sorry about taking so long to answer your post. I've only got 2 more weeks of school and that means FINALS :( so I've been buried in my books the last little while.

Bijou has laid 3 more eggs ... so that's a total of 4 all together. I left her 3 latest eggs in her cage and she has not even attempted to sit on them. She displayed the typical brooding hen behavior (getting really aggressive and territorial about her cage) but other than that, she ignored her eggs. She started to break them open so I decided that it must be her way of telling me that she doesn't want them in her cage anymore so I have removed them. She now comes out of her cage and is back to her old self. Hopefully, she won't go back to the "breeding mode" until next spring (or if she never goes through it again, I'll just be too happy!).
