Well, here's the thing. I know all my animals' "gotcha" days except for Wiz cat's. And I feel bad that I give everyone a special thread saying, happy so-many-years together except for him. I've never been able to do that for Wispa, because I genuinely can't remember when my mum and I got him. I'm pretty sure it was 1996, as I know it was some time before I started secondary school.
I remember picking him up from the shelter. I remember carrying him home. On foot. Five miles. I remember how terrified he was, how long he took to litter train. - But for the life of me I can't remember the date.
So I'm just going to post this today, to acknowledge my eldest - my dearest Wispa, who I love with all my heart and cannot really remember ever being without.
His gotcha day is one day this year, lol. I think it may have already passed. Or if it hasn't it'll be soon. It could be today. I doubt it, though, as that would be one extraordinary coincidence.
So to my Wiz! Happy 16th gotcha day, my sweet boy, whenever it was/is.
