yeah my pit is about 5months now. she is full blood, both parents have papers. her mom was cowboy and dakota(whatever that is) and the dad is red nose. i was juss wandering when she is gonna start bulking up and looking really muscularly. she about 40 lbs now

I don't know much about the charateristics of a pitbull and when they *bulk* up. I hope you are teaching him to be gentle and loving and I hope someday that the pitbull will loose their stigma in society and will be looked at as a good choice for a pet.

Seems to be no real consensus of a standard for pits. A general rule of thumb is that you multiply what a dog weighs at 4 months by 2 and that's about how much they will be at maturity. My best friend has a 2 year old pit and she's only about 45 lbs, but solid muscle. But then you look in the back of Dog Fancy and there are GIANT pit bulls. People should remember that APBT are a MEDIUM sized dog. Those huge dogs almost always have something else mixed in somewhere along their lines.

yeah i would never train her to be mean, she lovs people to death and i wouldnt have her any other way, maybe a little less hyper lol

just wandering but are cowboy and dakota certain pit breeds cause im not positive
