Prizes Won At Shore

Hi everyone,
I am going to attempt to post a picture of prizes hubby won at the shore this past weekend. We have gone down the past three years and have invited 2 others couples to join us for the weekend. Everyone is in charge of making a meal or two, we play pinochle, spades and board games. We walked the boardwalk a few times and hubby was very lucky this year with the machine that has the claw which grabs the prize and usually drops it before it can get to the delivery shute. This year he won 4 of the witches shown and the 2 cats. We had a great time!

Better then that --- do you want to just put them up here. Hmmmmm..... or does that use up your space. If so then size them and email them back and I will post from there. Thanks!

I signed up at a free pic hosting site -- however I am still waiting for my confirmation notice at hotmail which I have to click on before I am allowed to start an album on the host site. It hasn't come yet and it has been over 12 hours!

Check your junk mail folder, that's usually where those go in hotmail. :)

Thanks Kaye -- sure enough you were right. However, when I clicked the confirmation email it said I needed to be signed into Webshots which I attempted but I need to go to my browser and "enable cookies" --- I can find delete cookies but no enable. SOS SOS HELP HELP!!!!!

Diane...I think you would have better luck with a different hosting site. I tried webshots too in fact I still have it but MypicGallery is alot easier to do. At least it was to me. Good Luck!

Edit --- Well there is a "help" button and my ? is answered. You used to be able to post pictures from Webshots on other websites, but due to abuse that option is no longer offered. So much for that. The link above didn't seem to work either................ however that is the address it lists above my photo album. Guess I try the site you suggested Judy -- but not right now.

OK -- Judy I have tried but can't seem to bring the pictures over here. This is sooo frustrating!

leave it up to a 24 yr. old semi-computer geek to figure it out :p what i did was i right clicked the mouse, selected "properties", copied & pasted the web addy, & then saved the piccie. here's one of my favorite pics of april from that site - she's so cute & i miss seeing her :)

Thanks Nikki. However, that is exactly what I did - except for the last step of saving the picture. Where exactly did you save it? I'm a lot confused here.

oh yeah, i forgot to mention that part, didn't i? :p i saved it to the desktop, so that it wuold be easier to find when i attached it here. plus it's alright 'bout you getting confused - i even get kenny confused sometimes when i tell him stuff. :cool:

Yay!.. it worked.. sometimes host sites wont let you post using the URL.. I think Webshots is one... anyways.... here's how to do it:

Go to your pic that you want to post... make it the larger pic.... right click your mouse right on the pic.....click on "properties" and a window will show up... look for the "URL" address(it will start with 'http' and end with 'jpg'.... highlight the address and right click... click "copy".... go to the Petlovers post where you want to post it and left click on the little postcard above where you type (its looks like mountains with a yellow sky)... a little window will appear... right click your mouse where the address goes and click on "paste"... your basically just copying and pasteing the URL address... then hit "ok".. something like that, I think you have to click "ok" twice... the info will be put on your post.. you wont see it until you submit your post. Good luck.. let me know if you have any problems.
