The pictures seem to come out better in the living room. The babies are in one of Hayley's cups, while the nest box is being cleaned. Lucky is the one in front. The youngest one is in the back.

I meant to put this before. From the pin feathers on Lucky's wings, it looks like he's going to be a pearl.

Lucky's eyes are almost open now. I haven't really named the other two. I'll leave that to their future owners.

a beautiful clutch.
my cockateil laid 3 eggs, only 1 hatched, and after a week he died. it was her (our) first clutch, so i'm chalking it up to inexperience. i've taken the nest box away to give pearl a rest, and will try again in the fall.
are you hand feeding thses babies? i suppose you have a formula, no? any idea how to make a hand feeding formula if it's not available on the local market. would love to try hand feeding.

I'm pulling the babies for hand feeding in 5 days, so the youngest baby will be 2 weeks old. I use Kaytee exact hand feeding formula for all the bird I hand fed. This is Pretty's first clutch too. 3 eggs hatched out of 4. They seem fat and healthy, and there eyes are open now. I'll go take a picture right now.
