Here is my Horatio with my husband, Jim. Unfortunately Horatio wants to lay with us like this all the time. And his elbows ALWAYS, ALWAYS find the soft spots on your body. Many bruises here, lol!

Oh my goodness....that is one big baby you have there. LOL We had a great dane when I lived at home and they are what I would call "the gentle giants" their looks scare people away but little do they know most great danes are more loveable than a terrier!!!

LOL.. what a riot. Our fosters would also want to lay on the couch with us. They definately are unaware of their size and think they are lap dogs LOL. Great pics Fin... keep 'em coming.. Im totally enjoying them!!!.

Hey Fin!!
Love Horatio's pic. He's a merle like my Bullwinkle! You hit the nail on the head with the elbow routine too - LOL!! I assume he also has the tail that leaves red welts - HAHa!

Thanks, guys!
Hey Jo, he sure does have a tail that leaves welts, lol! And can knock a full can of pop off the coffee table with one wag and he has no clue that he did it. Thank God for Stainmaster carpet!!!!

Whenever someone new meets Bullwinkle, especially kids, they are leery of his size and are a bit afraid. I always say, "You don't have to worry about the front end...it's the tail you need to watch out for!" LOL!!

Yes, Jo, I agree! I found out the hard way not to bend over if they were around. A tail in the face IS NOT what I would call comfy.
When we encounter little kids(Horatio LOVES, LOVES little kids), they usually comment on his color, and the size of his feet.
My friends son David is 10, and his biggest thrill is putting his hand in Horatio's mouth. He always wants to take Horatio home, lol!

I love it! I sometimes get ground level to cuddle one of my guys, and they end up in my lap. Who would have known that doggie butts can be boney? But I wouldn't trade those moments for anything. I am envious, my hubby won't let any of our kids past the fireplace area, if they are in the house, they have to lay on their beds..... unless he isn't home... shhhhhh....lol
