I'm sorry I can not help you there...I know nothing about rabbits but have you tried the internet? I would look there while waiting here to see if someone knows. I'm sure someone here does.....just a matter of time. Good Luck!

Yes you can give them sugar in their water, but a very small amount. I don't know if I would leave it in there all the time, just maybe give them regular water for most of the day then give them some sugar for a small portion of the day. I am not for sure though. I did have a rabbit that I think had either a blockage or something and she was just laying their stiff, but after i gave her some sugar water she soon was back to normal. Just be careful about how much sugar you put in, I think I put either a teaspoon or tablespoon, I can't remember because I was rushing around to help her. By the way she did survive and although I had to sell her because she didn't get along with my other bunny, she was jumping and running just as before.
Theres a wonderful lady on my Tags and Tails forum that may be able to answer some questions. I'll try to send her over here.

Mmmm....I definitly agree on watch how much you put in there. Rabbits are sensitive about alot of things. (Manly heat!) A half a teaspoon sounds okay. I'm only 13 but, I know alot about animals! I plan on owning my own pet store when I grow up. Good Luck! (I've had rabbits before) :D

be really carefull putting suger in your rabbits water, a tiny, tiny amount is ok, but its alot safer to buy stuff from a petstore. you can get a powder that has natural(fruit) sweetener, vitamins and minerals. If you do decide to use suger, make sure you clean the water despenser really well every day, becuase suger can grow alge and other unpleasent things really fast.
