One of my dumbo rats, George, has "table manners". Every time I hand him a piece of something to eat, he goes to his bowl and holds it over his bowl to eat it. I find this very endearing (and strange). He is quite old, over two years, and seems to be a gentleman. While all of my other rats dump their bowls all over, George eats his food one piece at a time out of the bowl. Out of all the rats I have had over the years, I've never had one do that every time he eats.
