ne 1 got an answer ?
if i was to let my ferrets go through the x ray at a security check in an airprot would it hurt them?
would it be like someone getting an x ray at a hospital?
would it cause ne damaga?
would it cause cancer?

Hi -

I don't think that the x ray will hurt your ferret. People and animals alike have x rays everyday for diagnostic purposes. But, to be on the safe side, you should consult your veterinarian and also ask the airlines if they routinely xray animals for flight. I understand the purpose of x raying the ferret. Some real sicko might try to shove a bomb up it's butt :eek: or something, but does seem a little extreme to xray an animal. Good luck! :)

and yea it would be sick if someone used a ferret for a bomb

I'm not sure if a xray would hurt a ferret. I couldn't imagine someone using a ferret to stick a bomb up it's butt though! :eek: -laughing out loud-
