Very Finicky Cat has become even More Finicky!?

She was like this from day one, at 9 months, and I tried every brand/flavor till she liked some Fancy Feast flavors. She's 4 now, Maine Coon. She likes one flavor one day, hates it the next. She's never drank water, gets it from the wet. She hates dry. Is OK about chicken scraps or cold cuts, then hates them. About 2 wks ago she stopped eating but was definitely hungry. Noticed the other day she may have lost some weight! She hates all those flavors now. Now what?? She already hates the other brands! I'm worried! Humans have eating disorders so I guess cats can too? Taking her to the vet soon too but any feedback will help. Thanks.

You seem to be making as much effort, from the home front, as possible. My thought is inline with yours. The vet's office as soon as possible and keep trying what she's able to ingest until you've received a satisfactory professional opinion. She may be moody or she could possibly be having a little trouble. Observatory intervention can't hurt so, just let your vet know what concerns you. My best wishes for a comforting resolution. :)

I have to agree with the vet visit. It sounds to me like there may be something else going on, espically if she lost weight. Cats can be picky but generally not that picky. Please keep us updated.
