any ideas about this poor cats condition?

A friends cat began throwing up 3 days ago and has been at the vets on fluids and antibiotics ever since. The blood work came up normal with only a slight elevation in the kidney enzymes. They say it is probably due to the vomitting. He justs sits there and drools and will not eat. Not sure if he is using litter box. Two Vets are conferring and cannot find a cause. Possib;le poisoning? Some kind of bite? We are stumped. He is very sick. Any help greatly appreciated/ sskitties

I'm glad to hear your friend has taken the kitty to the vet. That's the best place to start. I had a cat who was throwing up alot and we found out through an x-ray it was stomach cancer. Did she get an x-ray for the kitty? If it's an outdoor cat, it could have gotten into anti freeze, rat poison or maybe a sick mouse or something. Make sure the vet covers all of these bases. Please keep us updated and I will say a prayer for the kitty.
