Are mini horses mostly the same thing as normal sized horses, just smaller?? Another question, how much do sheep cost? thanks for the help.

Sheep can be priced anywhere from $10.00 to $150.00. You can get newborns at auctions for 10.00. The rates are listed in the liestock price sheet in your paper. If you go to a breeder you can catch deals if they are culling the flock or if the price at auction lessens. I recommend going to a breeder because you will have a contact for future questions and auctions are HORRIBLE! You are either a farmer or an animal lover, it is very hard to walk between.

conformationally and staturally speaking, mini horses are the exact replicas of full sized horses. ponies however are built different than horses. they are more broad and hardier.

I have 6 minis...my farrier says you need to be tougher on the little horses because they are usually very spoilt and get away with a lot of stuff and he says they are stronger then we give them credit for...but they are terrific pets
