Hello we are the Szymanski family,
We are new to this board, so I thought I would post a little something here about my family. I am a mother of 3 children (humans) LOL and three pet children Lady is 5 moths old she is half German Shepard and Half Siberian Husky, Her birth mother was A husky and her birth father was a Shepard.
We are looking to find her a mate to meet now so that when she is about 2 years old they will give us a bigger family. I have many brothers and sisters that would love a puppy from my Lady Girl.
Now I also have a 3-year-old cat that I raised from when she was born. Her birth mommy didn't want her because she was born a bit sick. So of course I took the little stinker home, took off of work for about 2 weeks. And brought her back to the living.
Ok lets see 3 weeks ago my hubby calls me from work...(There is a little kitten under the porch at the office and he is smaller then may hand) he says.
So he brings him home. "Lucky" That is his name now.. Well lucky was no older then two weeks and was very sick, skin and bones....Now it is about 3 weeks later and he is chasing me around the house like a little pup LOL
Lets see....Oh yes I also have 3 step children that are with me for the summer....I have a house full yes LOL
Ok these are the most recent pictures that I have since we brought Lucky the kitten home...Remember he was ill and had a wound on his head as well..That I would like to say has completely healed up and now is growing his hair back.
Well I think that is about it for now...Will have new pictures to post in a few weeks....By the way if you are looking to breed your dog in about a year and a half Lady would be a great dog to breed with...We are looking for a German Shepard or a Husky...Even if you son is a mixed Shepard and Husky that would be great. We live in Lakehurst so drop me an email so we can talk

First of all, welcome to the forum :)
Second of all, I know how to get the pics uploaded, or what I do anyway. I upload the pics to a free webhosting site - I use http://www.photobucket.com - & then go to the advance mode of the Reply screen, click on "insert image", copy & paste the web addy of the piccie, & there you have it. Hope that helps :D

Just wanted to say welcome Josephine. I am going to go and look at your pictures now. Love it when people share their pictures! Oh - welcome to all your family too.
Edit: Loved the pics! Especially the one with Lucky & Lady --- Lady looks like she doesn't know what to think of this little stinker who's in her face. LOL
Is Lucky missing a part of his tail? Where is a pic of your 3 yr old kitty?
Cute pics! The last one of Lady and Lucky is really precious.

Thanks so much for the welcome. No Lucky is not missing a part of his tail. But he was pretty bad shape when my husband brought him home. He was hardly breathing. This pic of Lucky was taken 2 weeks after I got him. He was not walking, so i had to help him to go to the bathroom..
Now he is doing great. I will have new pics by the end of next week. As for Kitty my 3 year old. Well I will have new pis of her to. Lady now loves lucky as if he were her own little pup. Lucky is getting very strong and running and bitting everyone on there feet...he chases us around like a puppy..LOL it is really funny to watch. Luck has lots and lots of love from both Kitty and Lucky and of course my 22 month old son is crazy about him.
Let you all know when i will be posting new pics.
Thanks again for all the warm welcomes :p

Welcome Josephine!
Bless your heart for nursing those 2 babies back to health. Your Lady is adorable. I can see why your relatives want a puppy from her. In a couple more months, she'll finally grow into those ears! LOL!

My avatar is a pic of my goffins cockatoo, Angel. I refer to Angel as she but am not really sure. Angel is very affectionate -- but tends to pluck her chest. Angel didn't start plucking until she was almost three years old. I've had her vet checked and tested -- nothing wrong just a nasty nervous thing that has become a habit.
Glad to hear that your grey is coming home. I've really been wanting a grey or an amazon but hubby feels we have enough birds. Oh well!

Hello Macassi,
Thanks it was allot of work, but so well worth it. Oh god I hope that lady does grow into her eyes soon...LOL there so big but I still think she is a looker. And wow is she ever smart. At 8 weeks she was house broken (oh I got her when she was just 5 weeks old) Her mommy didn't want to nurse her anymore. But she is so so fast at every thing we teach her. She knew all her commands at 10 weeks. And tuns of tricks, She has such a big yard now to run free in and she is happier then ever. She is really a great dog. I new she would be.
Thanks again
Josephine

Ohhhh Angel is so pretty, just a question, does she have a mirror. Try putting one in her cage or some where on the wall near her cage. So that she can see her self. I bet she will stop plucking hehe...
It worked with my mothers Cockatoo. Only hard thing with African Greys they usually bond only to one person. They’re really funny that way. My mother's used to love me and her only, but my Rockie love's his mommy only.
Try the mirror thing :cool
