Hi i'm new here I'm 16 been in recovery from a surgery for almost 2 years now. (tumor) I'm ok now and I have a cat named Midnight shes find but it''s her male counter part im worried about.
He's about 9-11 years old and still very active but he's been looking sickly.
He has several cuts behind his ears and keep scratching them so they wont heal. He also has a few bald spots on his sides that he keeps licking open. I'm starting to use some bandages on him and it's help him from reopening the scratchs and some antibiotic ointment is helping.
I would take him to the vet but we're lost our jobs recently and we have no extra money for a visit. If he got any worse I don't know what to do.
Is there anyway to keep him from scratching / licking himself litteraly to death? I hope someone can help me i'm worried...
