Gosh, I cant believe the difference in this guy. We've had him for about 5 months now and he's doing so good. He's the crippled rescue my step daughter got last year while she was living with us. She got married and moved, then went on vacation and I asked to babysit him while she was gone, along with her pit pup.. after begging to keep Max, he stayed. Amazing what a little love and good care can do.
This is Max when we brought him home to babysit about 5 months ago.

He looks a lot better. He's an awesome looking Iguana.
Wow I've always admired iguanas, but you're not allowed to keep any in S'pore. In the second pic his head looks like a baby T-rex's!

Thx!!!!!
Elizabeth~ Iguana's make awesome pets. They are very quiet, loving guys. Max doesn't know any tricks, but he does come to me when I call his name. He's a little skiddish when I go to pick him up, but is fine once I have him and he loves to cuddle my neck(sorry Judy hehe :p ). He also loves to be outdoors and in the sunshine... I have his cage in a spare bedroom, next to the window so he gets sunshine during the day, but he'd rather be outside. I put him in the bathtub with water for therapy because he cant use his back legs much... he's doing great and getting more strength in his legs now, I think its really helping. The thing I like most about Iguana's is they are vegitarians ;) .
Mishapip~ Max is guestimated to be about 4 years old and he's a little over 2 ft long from nose to tail. They can get up to 6 ft long when full grown, but because he's crippled I dont know if he'll get that big.
