Well, this was a question I asked a while back. I asked what to do about my Sengal plucking her legs. The story goes, she had her own room, and my step son moved in, well I had to move her into my bedroom, and thats when she started to pluck. My birds donot do to good with change. Anyway I since moved her to my living room, and she seemed to do okay. I took a turkey feather and wrapped the end with yarn and looped it,so I could tie it to her cage,Thinking maybe she will chew on that and leave herself alone. Well I am so happy to say, it worked! and her stress seems to have gone to her turkey feather and not to herself!!!! Now her feathers have grown back and she looks Beautiful and healthy. Maybe if any of your Birds pluck you can try this method? It worked for me. Thanxs Gail

Your welcome! Sunni started doing this to herself about 5 months ago. I thought I would never figure out why? I also thought this was her "new" Habbit, and would not be able to stop her. But so far so good. I hope this works for your bird. Sunni must think this is her mama or something? LOL prening and all. How funny she is. And then she will peck at it, like she is upset or something. Funny. But It works and that whats important.
