So now there's a baby with no bottom of the eggshell [airhole place] and its still covered in tat oozie stuff. The person put it bak with the other unhatched eggs to see if the mother will still take care of it..Shes still sittin on it. What should i do? I think its gona die. The baby is still breathin and i dunno how to make it stay alive. Plus i dunt have an incubater..so i really need help with dis one..thanx..please reply back QUICK! thanx. helppp mee..!

Hi Cheeri0, I also read your other post about you dropping one of the eggs. I'm sorry to hear you are having so much trouble with the eggs from your birds. I don't know anything about breeding since all my birds are not mated so I can't help or offer you any advice. Hopefully, someone will come soon and give you an advice. But remember that this is a forum (not a chat room) so you may not get an answer until tomorrow or whenever someone who can help comes to the board. If you really think that this is urgent and can't wait until someone responds, please contact your vet or the humane society. Some vets have a phone number where they can be reached during the night in case of an emergency but most don't offer this. The SPCA usually have a night staff so if you call them perhaps they'll be able to give you some form of advise on what you should do next. Good luck and I hope you find great advise from someone regarding this.

How are the other eggs doing cheeri0? First you need to know..never ever attempt to open an egg or mess with them in any other way because the odds of the living after that are very very small. That should be left up to the very experienced breeders if any at all. The best thing you can do right now is leave them alone and let the momma and daddy and mother nature take care of them. The more you try to handle or do anything with the eggs the more your odds go up that they none of them will make it. Keep us posted...Good luck

My suggestion would be to leave them alone untill she rolls them out of the nest herself. You have 2 healthy babys going so concentrate on monitering them and congratulations!

Yea, you should just leave them alone, the mother will know what to do, and if they die, they die.
