Sophie had eaten Papya and began to poop red. So I panicked and though it was blood. I called the vet and he asked what had she been eating. We said papaya. He told us to give her pellets and her poop color would go back to normal. Barkley decide that you needed a good heart attack. LOL. Glad it was just a false alarm.

I think it's a lovebird's job to keep us on our toes! Recently I noticed that the blinds in my bedroom kept being shut, even though I kept opening them. I asked my mom if she was the one shutting them, and she said no! Later in the day I was sitting in my room and I hear the sound of the blinds falling half-way down, and what do you know, Scherzo my luvy was on top of the curtains chewing on the chords to the blinds! Within minutes both were completely shut again! Hmmm....maybe I'll have to train her to shut them on command at night... =)

One of my many luvies, Peeper, is a shredding fiend. Literally, he will shred everything and anything he can find. Just yesterday he ran out of newspaper on the table so he climbed into the rabbit cage and began to demolish her clean paper! Your absolutley right, Jenny, their job is to keep us on our toes! I can't think of a better way to describe them.
