I don't post here a ton, but lurk around quite a bit....
I just got a bunch of photos of a couple of my dogs resized and uploaded onto the computer, so I thought I'd share them here.
At the end of every summer, right before they close the pool, the city pool is opened up so that you can take your dogs swimming. It is a great fundraiser, and a great time for the dogs and their owners. I took Zayda last year and she absolutely loved it! So, this year I ended up taking both Blake and Zayda (my min pins don't exactly enjoy swimming).
It was Blake's first time actually swimming. Luckily, I had bought him a life jacket a few days before the dog paddle. At first he was pretty scared but I went out in the water with him and helped him swim. Then, I threw a tennis ball out a few feet and had him swimming and fetching in no time! (I think he thought he was pretty badass when he finally figured it out!)
Zayda, as with everything else, is a natural.
Here are some photos from the 2009 Dog Paddle....most of these were taken by Andrew. These first ones are of Blake.
"Maybe if I kiss her, she won't make me do it..."
