Halloween is my favorite holiday, by far. This was Luca's first Halloween so we let him in on the fun. We took him around the neighborhood so he could see all the kids. He absolutely adores children. Sadly all my pictures came out rather crummy. Bad lighting in my kitchen and bad camera phone.

Did you know sharks love carrot sticks? Well this picture proves it.

The poor kid was so tired when we got home he fell asleep as soon as he layed down!

Did anyone else have fun on Halloween?

This is the first pumpkin I've ever carved on my own. Its not as easy as I thought it would be. My boyfriend added the Snoopy parts. Hes obscessed with Peanuts.

That is an awesome pumpkin!
I love his costume! Did you make it yourself?
I didn't dress my dogs up, but our clinic dog had a costume. He was Sherlock Holmes! He's a 15 year old Basset Hound named Baskerville. I'll see if I can get some pics of him in his costume.

I love the negative pic. That looks worthy of Tim Burton. :)
And Luca is so cute. I don't think he looks too impressed with his getup though.
I hate halloween, from a selfish viewpoint. Can't walk my dogs in peace for ghouls and goblins driving the Frankie monster crazy. Kids showing up at the door, demanding I hand over all my money, and all my chocolate... Go away, kids, it's mine! *hiding in a corner with a piece of toblerone*

I didn't make it. I bought it from our store. It was actually the best selling costume of the year. I wish I'd had the time to make one. Things have just been sorta rough for me this year. Homemade costumes are the best. (way cooler too)
Sherlock Holmes is a perfect costume for a Basset! That is an awesome choice. :)

I was actually going for a Nightmare Before Christmas-y look when I was drawing him, so I take that as a hugecompliment. John named him Herman. :p
He wasn't really impressed with his costume. He didn't hate it and it didn't bother him, but he wasn't exstatic or anything. He just went with it. The cat, however, hated the sight of it. It was quite comical, because she truely didn't recognize Luca anymore and bushed her tail out and hissed every time she saw him. He lives in fear of the cat so thats why he looks unhappy in most of those pictures. She was lurking in the background. Finally I put the costume in her bed, and she smelled him on it and was fine with it. Silly kitty.

Cute costume even if your pup wasn't impressed.
So, did he get doggy treats and such in his trick or treat bag? LOL
Your pumpkins were well done. Loved the negative pic.
