I finally decided I'd pushed Mungo Jerry's luck far enough, and he was getting even crankier than before, so I took him in today. He went easily, they guessed him at about 13 years old. Not a short life for a cat, and from the way he acted I thin he was a spoiled only child for most of it. Bye Jerry, it's awful quiet at home now.

Jenny I am sorry for your loss. I know even though there are others around - losing one leaves a void still.
At least he was warm and safe with you for his remaining days.

Sorry nana..... never easy letting go but a houseful of other cats keeps one busy and preoccupied. Have fun big guy...maybe you will make friends with Ozzie and Frankie.....
