Thanks. Thing 1 was very old. I have had him for 6 years! Thing 2 is still a baby. I just got her maybe 8 months ago. She is very sad today. I sat and talked at her for a bit and told her it will be ok. Poor thing looks so lost :(

Awww.....8 months together is a long time for the new one ... especially since that is all she knew... it will be quite an adjustment for both of you!

As everyone has said, your remaining little keet will grieve over the loss also. She or he will need more attention now that there isn't another featherkid to bond and play with.
