My piggies are now safe and sound, it's about time!

I hope you all are ready, I've got TONS of pics! hehe (I've tried resizing them to make them smaller, but it didn't work)

They don't have names yet, so I will refer to them as "the twins" and "Big Sister" cuz she's like twice the size of the others! LOL

Right now I got Big Sis sitting with me on the computer desk, she is very quiet and just cuddling. She lets out these little "wheek" sounds when I pet her, and this kind of, i dunno "purring" sound I guess is what it sounds like, not too sure what it means, but I'll figure it out pretty fast I'm sure!

They are not really skittish, just a bit shy and nervous but that's normal, since it's their first day home!

Still thinking of names... Mart wants to call one Roukia.. or i dunno how it's spelt.. I'm not very fond of it, but that was the deal when we were getting them, he was supposed to name one, and I name the other.

They need to be bathed and brushed, but i will give them time to settle in first.

All the ride home they just cuddled each other, was so cute!

Once i showed them their hidies, they got real comfortable in them, and didn't come back out! LOL

Now I just need to figure out how to give them haircuts when their hair gets too long!! HeHe

I love them so much already!!!

They are all so precious! I'm so glad you went with fleece-I'm trying to get switched over myself but I've been too lazy to go through the wicking process. :p

I like Big Sister & the Twins-it sounds like a band name or something. Give them lots of cuddles from me! :D

did you name them any french names, those little quebecois guinea pigs need to know their heritage ;) the quebec government might track you down and pummel you if you don't lol.

They're very cute, I wish I could have guinea pigs, but I think I have enough on my plate for now what with my new birds comming. Know that I am jealous... Very, very jealous ;) lol

awwwwwwwwwww im in love, especially with "big sister" what beauts you have their marie!! the purring is a happy noise, it means their comfortable with you.. both of mine do it when i scratch them! just happy piggies.. eventually, they will start to "popcorn" which is when they jump around and run all over the place.. its adorable, and it also means their happy, healthy, and comfy! congrats on the girls marie, im so jealous!!!

I also liked the name Ellie, but for some reason, it doesn't seem to fit any of them. I also like Pixie, but not sure either.

I like Delilah also, but for me, i think it's too close to Dalia. I also like Darla, but again, too close to Dalia.

i didnt think ellie really fit mine either, so i always call her Ella, Ellie May, or Ella May.. lol i think pigges need cute names like that.. bc theyre well... cute!! lol

So, just out of curiosity, do you have a bunch of spare fleeces to replace that one when it's in the wash? I do like the fleecy floor, they'll be nice and snuggly, I'm just wondering how easy it'll be to keep fresh?

Well actually, I have 4 fleeces. :D

I couldn't find any fabric store around here that sold fleece, but I found fleece throws at wal-mart for 5$ each, so I got 4, and they are the perfect fit!

And I just cleaned out the cage, took me.. oh about 15 minutes, and that's counting refreshing water bottles, refreshing food, vacuuming out the poops, replacing the hay and making them a nice salad (fresh romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, green pepper, baby carrots, and a bit of broccoli), oh and fixing the side of the cage, since we made it using tie-wraps, it was hard for me to reach all the way in because the cage is so large and up on a table, so I took the tie-wraps off of one side, so that side of the cage can swing down for me to have easy access, and I just keep it in place with clips afterwards.
