We bought 3 glow fish from walmart about 2 weeks ago and a mere few days later my girlfriend mentioned she thought one was pregnant. Sure enough she seems quite pregnant. I havent seen any eggs along the bottom, but I could be wrong. The tank water needs changed quite badly even though its only been 2 weeks. I will likely cut back on the amount of food i give them at once. So is there any precautions i should take?

Well one thing is that if u stop feeding as much then there will be a possibility of her eating the eggs, also have you looked up any info on what the eggs look like? if not i would recomend it and when u change the water, take the ordaments outta the tank n put them in a container of water from the same tank. Search the bottom of the tank n make sure there arent any on the bottom. i would recomend putting the mom inside a breeders net for the next few weeks. glo fish are also called the colored versions of the zebra dyno check that out too. they are egg layers. here is something i found online for you.
The males are slim and longer than the females. When the females are mature they will look sorta pregnant those are all their eggs. Zebra Danios are egg layers not live bearers. Which means they will not give birth to live babies they will lay their eggs and they will have to hatch.
Zebra Danios are egg scaterers which means they will swim back and forth dropping their eggs everywhere. When the fry are born they will cling to the sides of the tank and feed off their egg sack for a few days. When they are free swimming you can start to really feed them. The eggs take about a day and a half to two days to hatch.

I've looked into breeding my Zebra Danios, and what you need to do, is take the ornaments out, and lower the water down to about 3-4inches.
You're supposed to take the rocks out, since they can burry/kill the eggs, but if you think they may have already been laid, I might not do that.
Here's what you do when you're planning to breed, do what you think is best:
1. Take everything out of the tank.
2. Make sure you have 2 males and 1 female (females are much fatter than males).
3. Lower the water level to 3-4"
From here, I don't remember exactly what to do, so you might want to look it up. But that's the basics. They lay eggs, the males then do there thing ;) and a few days later, babies or "fry" will be born. You won't be able to feed them for a few days, and if you feed the grown fish, feed VERY little. With lowered water, the water is able to get dirty really quick, and once the eggs are hatched, you won't be able to clean your tank for a while.
