All zonkered out after getting home!

She found a new spot to sleep, since she wasn't allowed going into her crate, I wanted her with me so I could keep an eye on her, so she decided to cram herself under the guinea pig cage, the opening is literally like 1 foot wide. .LOL

With the e-collar on, still managed to squeeze in there!

She wasn't supposed to eat yesterday, just in case she would get sick from the anaesthesia, but the vet did say she could have a small snack at night, so here she is enjoying a treat!

Wow, the incision is so small! Kye's and Rio's were much larger, from what I recall.
I'm glad she's home with you! Everything went okay then I take it?

That's what i though too, that the incision looked small only about 2 1/2 or 3 inches long, my mom's cat's incision was almost as big as Roxy's.
Yeah everything when fine, they told me she did great, went in for the spay at 9:15am and was done at 9:45, which they told me was about average.

Hi Marie! That's a nice tidy looking wound! I love the pictures....I see Roxy still likes to squeeze into small tight spaces.
So glad everything is well!

She's still cute even when she's drugged up!
That looks like a very neat incision, she should heal fine! Glad everything went ok.

Aw, bless her. Looking good. :)
It's funny how some vets do such a neat, small incision, and some seem to make a right meal of it. :p

Aww...poor thing... :p
I'm surprised that some vets still use external suture...I guess I just haven't seen a spay done that way in a while. :D

What's the difference?? I mean does it make recovery any easier or shorter??
Is it bad to have the external sutures?

Nyah has internal, Schatze external. Only because she also had her hernia fixed.
There's no difference, other than the dog doesn't have to come back to have sutures taken out. :)

Bless her, especially in her little hidey hole! Nice neat wound, Tilly's is lovely and neat too, and small like Roxy's. Lovely to see her back at home, phew it's all over, Pip
