Hello there, all. I am new to this forum. We have a large pet family - two cattle dogs and 3 cats (all are rescues), Koi, exotic chickens (pets) and Madagascar Giant Day Geckos. My burning question at the moment is WHERE can I purchase commercially grown/sold grasshoppers for my geckos on a year round basis? I have grown to hate those nasty disgusting smelly crickets :( and really do not want to use them anymore. Right now grasshoppers are plentiful in Arkansas, but in a few weeks they will be scarce and of course in winter they are dormant outdoors. Does anyone know of a source? This surely would be a great inroad in the live food department for some enterprising individual. But for now, I am hoping there already is one out there. Thanks sincerely - Arkansasfarm(girl) - Marsha

Hi there....I can't help you out here but someone else might. I know there are some here who have Geckos....Welcome to Petlovers and hope you find what you are looking for. My thing is birds. I have an African Grey, Canary, Green cheek Conure, Quaker, a pair of Cockatiels and a baby 'tiel I am hand feeding now. Poor guy...this is my first chance at hand feeding...hahaha...but he is looking good and growing so I guess I am doing it ok. I have a daughter who lives in Arkansas. Anyway...great big HOWDY to you.........
