Soon will be the 2 year anniversary of when My German Shepard dog "Trigger" has to be put to sleep.

He was 13 , we had him since I was a little baby . I have heard stories of when I was little he used to rip the couch to pieces and rip the tiles of the kitchen floor . But I miss him so so much :( He was trained very well never bit anyone , he got out once and had a fight with this dog took us ages to find him and when we did he had cut his paw poor guy . I just wish I had taken more photos of him I just have one in a frame .

R.I.P Trigger :(

So sorry for your loss. Have you considered giving a home to a pup/dog that may be at the shelter needing a home?

I have always thought of getting another pet as a tribute to the one that has gone on.

I'm sorry that you lost Triger and are still hurting from that loss. Do you have any other pets? x

Poor Triger, sounds like he was an awesome dude. Its funny how when its years later things like couch eating and tile tearing up becomes a cherished memory.

I just lost one of my dogs too. No you are right nothing can replace him and it hurts like hell. I didn't have a lot of pics of my last dog (prior to my huskies) and I could kick myself but the memories "Oh the memories" are still alive in my heart. I still cry for my past critters.
What makes them all special is how different they are from each other.
I am sorry for your pup 13 yrs old. That is awesome within it's self.
