Wow, manta rays, barracudas, and a whale shark!

I wonder if the size of the aquarium will keep the whale shark from growing to his full potential.

How big is it? Do you know the measurements?

I don't really know anything about it except that it is the 2nd largest in the world. A friend of mine gave me the link, but didn't give me the rest of the article. He said he found it on the discovery channel website.

i wish I could fit in my fish tank!!

BUT if I had a shark, I doubt I'd get in.

Amazing, none the less! :D

I watch this video like...5 times a day. It is so darn relaxing and calming, and I just happen to LOVE aquariums. :D I really, really appreciate the link!

I wonder if the size of the aquarium will keep the whale shark from growing to his full potential. From everything I've researched whale sharks tend to do poorly in aquariums. They are just way to big to ever live comfortably in an enclosure like that. There's one whale shark that's lived for 12 years in captivity, but he seems to be the exception, not the rule. The Georgia Aquarium, for example, had two whale sharks die relatively young deaths within very short intervals of one another.
