Help, I am relocating to the UK or Germany and really want to take my Red eared slider with me. There are no customs issues with importing him into the UK as long as I accompany him. So how do I find an airline that will take him????? I've tried Aer Lingus (useless unhelpful idiots on the phone) and I tried emailing Icelandair but they won't actually answer my Q. UPS won't air freight him internationally. Pet transport companies only seem to transport cats and dogs internationally.
Can anyone help me????

Pet transport companies only seem to transport cats and dogs internationally.

Have you made any calls to them to make sure?

These guys apparently ship more than just dogs and cats. (http://www.happytailstravel.com/index.php)

It doesn't appear to be very cost effective though. You may search for "Overseas pet transport" in google to find more options.

Have you called the airline to see if you can bring him as carryon luggage? They used to allow small pets that fit under your seat.

Becky has a good point, aren't Red Eared Sliders fairly small? Humidity requirements aside, you may be able to get away with a cat carrier (though I'm not entirely sure how the water would work).
