for my first reptile i was thinking of getting a Green Anloe :D but i have a few questions: -Whats a good size tank for one? would nano fish tank be good?
-What are some things i might need to keep it happy (lighting, items, beding[for the ground], etc)
-Would a Green Anloe be good for a first reptile?
-Anything else i should know?
Thanks for the help

if your looking for something exciting, i dont think an anole is the best for you. anoles dont like to be touched, they dont like to interact with humans at all actually, they pretty much just sit there all day, and eat crickets or w/e you choose to feed. they need about ten gallons, the more the better as with any animal, they like to climb, bask, and hide, so lots of plants, and logs ect. would be essentials.. heating is also needed, as they are from warm humid areas, and you;ll need to make sure to mist their tank often..

i dont know much about variety of lizzards, only the ones we have at the small pet store i work at. we often suggest lepord geckos, they stay reasonable size, they are pretty hardy, can be handled, are not usualy mean, and not to mention they come in all colors and patterns, a neat looking gecko!

at my store they are 45 dollars, they need heating pad but do not need any special lighting which can be pricey.. do some research though, perhaps that_girl will be around more, she is more knowledgable about reptiles than i am
