They are getting on my nerves!!!!:mad: :mad: Can you please get rid of them?

The advertisements are what pays for the forum. At least that is my understanding of it.
What about the ones where it says, "Your Banner ID has won our hourly contest! Click Here!" I don't see how those pay for anything. Where are you Mr. Parrot??

We'll be offering a paid account option for the site that will be free of advertising. Then you'll be able to pay to enjoy the site without the advertising in your way.
Until then, the site is free to use and, unfortunately, something has to pay an astronomically small amount of the bills ... and advertising it is. ;-)

I don't mind it. It is not like the ads pop-up one after another without end.

When I first joined it bothered me - but I just ignored it and now I don't really even notice it. I thought "What advertisements is he referring to?

I have been on a site where you cannot do anything there. The pop-up ads keep popping up and don't stop. If left alone and not closed, so many pop up that it crashes the browser. Thankfully I now belong to 2 sites that do not do this.
I don't mind them now. Thanks!

I will be honest I hate it!!!!!!!!!!!!! Each time I use my side bar I click on the STUPID FLASHING WHAT EVER!!!!!!!!! So just my honesty! I hate it.
