How many treatments are required?

Maui is being treated for tapeworm. So far, so good. No signs of "rice like particles". Someone told me I should treat her 1 pill every 3 months, 3 times. They told me this way you make sure you got everything. My vet only gave me 1 pill of Droncit and said that should take care of it but to continue watching her. I want to make sure I get this under control once and for all. Should I call my vet and ask for 2 more pills of Droncit?

Maybe you should call your vet and tell him/her what you were told and you were just checking to make sure you did not misunderstand him. Other than that...that's all I know.....Good Luck

when starr(dog) got worms they gave me 10 pills and she got one everyday for 10 days. i dont know if it is the same for cats, and i cant remember what the pills were called. it was 2 and a half years ago. sorry :)
