changing pellets

I am feeding Hayley Zupreem currently. I don't really want to feed her that, but thats what she was eating when I bought her. I never got around to switching her. What kind of pellets do you feed your birds? What do you recommend?

I feed my birds Zupreem because every single one of them likes it, and that's what my vet usually recommends. I don't know if it's the best though. Why are you thinking of switching Hayley? If I had a food processor I wouldn't feed my birds pellets at all and would feed them the "Mash Diet" that avian nutritionist Alicia McWatter's come up with. It's worth looking into for Hayley since it's REAL food with the real nutrients, not just the synthetic ones which are used in pellets.

Yes, the cost of the Harrisons pellets seems excessive to me also. At least putting ingredients together myself would allow me to know what I am actually feeding them!
