She tends to be a bit on the devilish side so I call her scooch or Little One - depending on my mood of the moment. :)

Awwww..........Scooch I'm sure you know, is a red mackerel tabby. Red Tabbies are my favorite! :)

She is the most loving, affectionate cat. While Ralph is affectionate it is never for very long and mostly when she'd like to eat. LOL

Scooch will lay on my desk and sleep keeping me company almost all day long. Great way to work. Makes being at the office a little more tolerable especially in the winter.

I love ginger cats, and she is absolutely gorgeous. The thought of working in an office doesn't appeal to me at all, but if I got to have her hanging around the place I maybe would consider it. :)

Thanks everyone.

special I didn't know the technical name for Scooch. I just thought of her as an orange kitty cat. LOL

Heather, I am tiring of working in an office and would love find a way to work with animals. So I envy you ...........well some days anyway. Not sure if what you do is quite what I am thinking of either. LOL

Thanks. Between the two of them she is the more loving one. Ralph loves me too, but she usually will not hang out in the office the way Scooch does. Ralph is more of a wanderer.

I shovel heavy poop between getting beaten up by animals all day. :) Today a horse tried to play footsie with me. (Like you'd do at school with the lad sat next to you.) Yes, try the equine version. It was very sweet, but he nearly crushed my knee. :p

Office work sounds safer. :) But I think I'd be climbing the walls after a few hours. At least you get your lovely kitties to keep you company though. Who do they belong to?

She's a pretty girl! You are so lucking to have kitties in your office, I would love to bring one of my guys to work with me cause it's such a stress reliever.

Who do they belong to?

That is a good question. The company pays for their food and yearly exam/vaccinations.

Most of the employees say to me "your cats" even though the guy who usually says it was the one who wanted to keep the two orange kitties after they were born in the back shed. LOL

Both Ralph & Scooch know that they are not allowed in the front office when the other woman worker is in. She only works 3 days a week now, but mostly they come in through the shop door and straight to my office anyway. They will also go upstairs to visit the original owner of the company who also loves animals.

The man who cleans the building loves cats and he comes every night to check on them (even though he only needs to clean once a week) he comes to be sure "our kitties" are ok - so maybe that is the answer. They belong to myself and Kenny. Kenny & his wife, Marion, will sometimes come by together and visit me and the cats. They are such a sweet couple -in their late seventies and still working actively. She babysits her great nieces and nephews while their folks work.

So these cats are very well taken care of. He comes by on the weekend to feed, water them and change litter if needed. Gosh he tells me of cats he feeds in all different parts of the county. He hates to see an animal, especially a kitty go hungry. I always catch myself thinking that I wish there were more people around like him.

This is why I was careful taking the shot a few posts above where she is laying on the window sill --- as a kitten she clawed her way through the screen one weekend

The picture of her hanging half out of the window is cute. One of my long term fosters is the same coloration, beautiful little male but he's terribly shy.
