I did today! I rode Brook for my lesson. She's a 5 yr old Percheron/Thoroughbred mix, probably 17.2hh. Maybe bigger, idk for sure.
but I LOVE HER! haha. Most of my lesson was spent having my new trainer (who i also love) yell at me to use my inside leg. But hey, we all have to start somewhere, right?
Anyways, she is SO much horse! I'm used to riding short fat horses, not her! She's tall, powerful, and very, very flexible hahaha.
I *think* I'll be riding her a lot from now on, so you better expect loads of pictures and videos. This horse is seriously beautiful!
Here's one of her and I...I'm about 5'8" with boots, maybe a little taller.

My 5'5" sister

Being a total sweetie

She's really dark brown, and the only white on her is on her face and her back left leg.
Enjoy!

yes! it all depends on what kind of mood my mother is in, though. She's the video/picture taker, and if she's angry, I get nothing - or perhaps a picture that is so far away I am just a speck on the horizon. However, if I butter her up, I get videos like this:

(i have other videos of leo there if you want to look)
I'll make sure she gets at least a few videos of Brook though - I want you all to see her move! hahaha

haha tell me about it! She is a total sweetie. The entire time we were cooling out, her lower lip was so relaxed it was flapping with each step. It took me a few minutes to figure out what the little popping noise was, LOL!

Leo the leopard? lol
I was thinking I should take pictures of the Tennessee Walkers I take care of. Edy, Sweets, Montana, Lightning, Tilly, Joe, Borat and Wingding. :)
Brook is awesome! And what an interesting cross.

he IS leo the leopard! haha.
you should - I'd love to see them!
What's more interesting, is that we have Brook's full (or maybe half?) sister at the barn, too! She's not owned by Tim, but by a boarder. But she looks EXACTLY like BrooK! I can't remember her name for some reason..it's like, Summer or something. but she's just as big and just as beautiful!

haha, placid. that's the perfect way to describe her. she was like a gentle giant on the ground, very in your pocket haha. under saddle she needed the urging of a crop AND spurs. Though, the spurs were mostly because I can't move my leg to kick her very hard (hip issues).
