You know, I was just thinking that whomever named the species of Amazons must have been loopy or something when they did it. Because my blue-fronted amazon had hardly any blue on it at all and here is this one of Melissa's with such a beautiful blue and it has no mention of the color in it's species name. I mean duh!!!

She actually went with me yesterday to my parents house and met everyone for the first time. She was a little bit nervous but all in all she did great! She didn't want to talk to anyone there though.
It was sort of funny because we stopped by petsmart on the way home and she was talking up a storm and even singing to people! I think she liked how loud she sounded in there, lol.

OOOOPS :o sorry.... SHE is a beautiful bird!!!! LOL Guess my mind was somewhere else. You need to capture her singing on video..... what does she sing? Pepper (my Grey) talks up a storm until somebody walks in and then he clams up big time:31: It is funny to hear him though:)

oh and btw, don't worry about the sex mixup! I am not that horribly fond of her name but she's had it for 6 years so I wasn't really sure if I wanted to change it after I got her or not. It ended up just sticking in my mind so Bo it stays!
