Came when I called her, and demanded petting!

Ya'll Ignore the messy room, Gary and a couple of the kids have had the house to themselves all weekend, but I had to post these. Never thought I'd see the day.:D

She is soooooo pretty nana! Congrats on finally being allowed to pet her - or the fact she is demanding petting.

One day maybe I can get a pic that shows her blue eyes too. Still a long way to go with her, but at least we're finally underway.

Congratulations!!!!! Working with Ozzie makes me appreciate the work you do getting these finicky creatures to even remotely act like they like you! UGH

She looks lovely, was she ferral or just really timid? One of mine is a rescue cat and was really timid to start with, actually still is to a degree but likes me and my husband! Pip

No, she wasn't feral, although she'd had very little human contact. My four true ferals were much easier to tame! An entire family (mama and three kittens) was brought to me, the others were just fine, she got more and more skittish for the first few months until she was untouchable for some 18 months. She'd been here approximately six months when it was time for her spay, and it took two people an hour to catch her. Furniture was overturned in the process, and I walked into the vets office bleeding from bite that should have had stitchs. After that she was really spooked, I figured she'd be the invisible cat forever.

What a gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous girl! Love her! :D

She's so lucky to have found such a dedicated momma to bring her out of her shell. She was worth it though, huh? :)

Blimey! You must feel great now that she comes to you for a love! You must have been sooo patient and she must really trust you now. A brilliant achievement, Pip

She was going to be named after the snow queen/white witch from Narnia, (she was almost 100% white as a kitten) but skimming through the story I couldn't find mention of her given name, and had to have a name fast for her paperwork at the vets. Witch isn't exactly what I started calling her, but the grandkids weren't allowed to call her what I did, so we changed a letter. :p I probably have as many scars from her as all the others put together, and that was only from two trips to the vet! She did not like me for a very long time.

No Way Nana, that is so awesome! Way to persevere!

I don't know why I though Witch was a DSH white cat though? She a beautiful gal!

As a kitten she was almost completely white, you could barely see the darker ticking. As for the DSH, maybe her taste for human blood led you to confuse her with Tiffer's Cattilac?:p

Must have been, because I was picturing her to look like a short haired Catillac!
