you named him fish sticks? that is so cute. i love bettas. i love fish. but my dream is to get another turtle. i had one along time ago but had to get rid of him. my ex-boyfriends step dad threatened to kill him :mad:

Those are lovely Betta fish. I had two Betta fish....separate bowls...that lived for over 2 years. They died two weeks apart last month. They were so beautiful, one red/purple the other blue/purple.

Yes, they are siamese fighting fishies. Big boy is 3 1/2 yrs. old & Fishsticks is a little over 2yrs. old. They love when I make funny faces at them, that is when they flare at me & wiggle at the same time. I never thought fish had personalities :p . ( I don't do the "mirror thing". I think it is mean :mad: ) Toodles.........

I love them! The red one is a georgeous (spelling?) color! I have three betas, I'll post pic of one, named Cecil, Nemo, and Fart. My husband named Fart of course..

Hey I like that! Fart! Sometimes I call some of my pets by quick names like fish fart, & birdie fart. The cat sometimes get the name " Miss Fartzie ". :p Hee, Hee.
