Roxy's new crate!

She loves it! Thank goodness!

She is good and usually quiet when she is in her crate, but gets a little whiny in the morning, because she needs to go outside for her morning pee!

She has her bed and her toys in her crate, i try to only give her 2 toys at a time in it, and switch them around every couple of days, to give her some variety.

I have no trouble getting her to go in, i just say, Roxy get into your "cabane" (french for small house, the word for crate in french is cage, i dont like to use that word.. i dunno why LOL) and she gets right in. She gets a nice yummy treat when she gets in right away.

She's becoming such a good girl!

I noticed she seems more calm since we have been crating her, i guess all you knowledgeable people on here were right about crating. At first i didnt like the idea, because it seemed cruel to me, but now i see what all of you meant, Roxy does see it as her safe place. She often goes in her crate without being asked, if the door is left open. It's like her "bedroom", where she has her bed, toys, and some privacy... LOL

Of course when we brought the crate home, Daddy had to make sure it was good enough for Roxy. Had to make sure it was up to standards!!! LOL

Now why didn't I think of putting something under my crate too? I've scratched the laminate :o
Roxy looks settled in there, I'm glad she likes it :) Makes things so much easier

hehe, that was a big concern for me, since its all new hardwood floors here, didnt want to scratch them when i move the crate around to vacuum. So i used and old mat that used to be in my entrance that i was going to throw out since the rubber underneath it was all gone cuz of washing, so it didnt stay in place, but its perfect for the crate, makes sliding it around alot easier! :p
