So, this morning, I woke up after Elvis started nudging me as he does to say he is done sleeping. I sat up, waking my self up, then look over at Elvis cause he coughed, then threw up.

It looked....bear with me, like the liquid part of corn chowder, that is the color or corn. He was fine afterwords, has been eating and drinking just fine, as well as going to the bathroom normally too. Ive been keeping an eye on him and he seems no different at all. Im going to be taking him to the vet this week cause he needs his shot anyway, but, I was wondering if anyone had any clues as to why he may have thrown up?

TIA! :)

Had he just eaten when he threw up and did the vomit contain whole kibble from that meal?

Had he eaten breakfast already? Some dogs will vomit on an empty stomach, and it usually happens first thing in the morning.

Vomiting is a sign of many possible illnesses. This causes great discomfort to your cat, as well as causing you stress. You need not panic as to immediately think of acute causes such as cancer. Start evaluating the basics such as the food and water that you are feeding your cat. For all you know, your pet is suffering from diarrhea, in which case, you need to have him checked.
