Hi, we have a chihuahua named Tito lol. She is getting up there in age (around 11 years in human years I believe). Over the last couple of months, I've been watching a black spot SLOWLY GROW. It's around the size of maybe two or three pencil tips now. Now, on the other side of her mouth, she has two more black spots. Her mouth is usually pink with some black pigmentation. Is this something to worry about? Thanks.

It may be something as simple as chin acne or dirt in her pores. But, it could be something like histiocytomas or even mast cell tumors and potentially sebaceous cysts. If it is indeed growing, I definitely recommend going to the vet. They can aspirate these little growths and try to determine under the microscope what they are. It is always better to be safe than sorry.
