I've been wanting to get my cats a Feliway plug and then noticed at the pet store today a similar type plug by Nutri-Vet which is considerably less money. Is there a difference in effectiveness between these two plugs? Has anyone had any experience with the Nutri-Vet plug?

Yes, feliway is the real thing, patented. I wouldn't bother with the imitation, myself. It's true you get what you pay for, most of the time. Feliway can be bought much cheaper at entirelypets.com.
Also google entirelypets.com coupon first, often there's a discount code available.
(I googled nutri vet and the pages that came up in places like pet products and amazon were way more expensive for nutri vet than the feliway at entirely pets. strange)
However, if you decide to try the nutri vet instead, please let us know how you like it.

Thanks for the info. The Feliway diffuser ordered through entirelypets is cheaper than the Nutri-Vet at the store.
I just realized I have an air purifier in that room. My male cat has asthma and the room just smells fresher with it. Its one of those tabletop Oreck's, its fairly small. Do you think that would interfere with the diffuser?
