They looked like they were posing, watching Daddy mow the grass, so I ran to get my camera:

Very cute! But without the "new guard guy" it isn't a complete family portrait! LOL How are they all getting along BTW?

They are getting along very well, he wants to flatten Cassidy with his big feet, and Cookie won't let him sleep with the rest of the family! LOL
He was a perfect angel last night, slept peacefully all through the night, then first thing this morning as I was doing the morning run for the back door "Come on everybody, let's go potty!" I turn around to find him squatted on the dining room carpet, peeing a FLOOD! So, I put him out with the doggy door closed. A while later, when I let him back in, he immediately squats in the living room, so for now he's outside in his pen.

Well............sounds like he was never housetrained. Can't blame the poor guy if he was never taught - you can't know what you were never taught ---- right? So, here you go again Anne!
After all, he can't be a good guard dog from the pen area. I think you said he was 12 weeks so he should be ready for training. Have you thought about using a crate to train him? This way he'd be in the house.

The only crate I have isn't big enough for him. I will probably confine him to the laundry room when I can't be home to watch him.

That works great also. We had a crate for our golden and as she was getting better I left her in laundry one afternoon when I wasn't going to be gone for long. She did wonderfully and next day when I was heading her to the crate as I was going to be gone longer - she turned and headed to the laundry room and gave me that big eyed look? After that she never used the crate ever again.
We need a picture of the new addition with the rest of the crew so we can see the size difference. Please!

Did anyone else expect something entirely different from title of this thread. Anne I did a double take when I saw the picture .................because I only expected to see one dog in pic at first. LOL

Aww they never heard of smiling for the camera? ;)
It's a great photo though, bet they'd never all sit like that again for you!

They are so cute. Did you color coordinate your screen door to fit the black and white color scheme? ;)

I'm not a small dog fan at all, but (and I believe I've said this before) you're pack almost could convert me. They're lovely, and oh so cute.
I love the photo of them all lined up like that.

Thanks guys! I did think of that 'first family' reference when I titled it, just a play on words.
Here's one of Jake and Cookie sizing each other up:

Tiffers weighed them both yesterday, and Cookie outweighs Jake by only 0.3 lbs!

That is adorable! Jake looks like he doesn't know what to think. Now when I saw the picture of Jake laying on the fireplace ledge I thought he would be double the size of the rest of the crew - pics can be so deceiving at times.
