Great pictures! Can I ask what you did when Taco tried to attack Wortham? Reason I ask is we learned that birds can also be trained to tolerate each other. Einstein, GCC and Angel, Goffins too used to go for each other also. Everytime it happened we would put the offending bird (or both if it was fight on both their parts) back in their cage with a stern statement "no biting or you go away.' Now mind you we are always around to supervise and I don't know if I'd ever go so far as to leave them on a play stand together alone - but they can be out with us on back of same couch and ignore each other's presence. Sorry, I know you didn't ask, but I just felt the need to share that bit of information.

When Taco goes after another bird he is usually startled. This time Wortham's sudden flapping freaked him out. All I do when Taco goes after a bird, or a person for that matter, is have him step up several times and then return him to the same spot. It seems to calm him down and let him know he still has to behave. I really don't do time outs I tend to work through it as it happens.

Aww...cute! It really makes me want a bird, but I know better!

Oh, I see if Taco was startled that is the reason he acted out. Everyone has different ways of working through a situation and whatever works is good.

Awe.......they're gorgeous. The photo of Taco is very good, I just love the scalloping on the Greys.

Mine also will squabble if given the chance. With the size differences I have, they all have seperate perches. My Amazon and Goffin will at times share a perch, but the little Goffin is always on alert for the Zon's attitude to escalate. She's much faster than he, and will fly out of his reach when he gets cocky.

Wonderful pictures Courtney and Taco is just gorgeous or rather handsome. He looks so healthy too....I have had an awful time with Pepper since the day I got him. No matter what he never puts on any weight ...~sigh~ and that Wortham is a beautifully colored bird and looks so proud and grand!
I also love their stand, did you make it or buy it someplace?
Thanks for sharing!!!!!!
