As you can see, it's hard to miss. Bingo and I were at the park, yesterday and this woman chased us down. The first thing she wanted to know was the sex of my little yorkie. I told her "male". She immediately started talking about wanting to breed him with her female, offering me "pick or $100". The devil in me reared his ugly head. I pointed out that he is defective, having CDA and explained it to her. She said, "But he looked normal when he was a puppy, didn't he?". I told her yes, he did. I was getting really steamed because obviously she wanted to breed him and sell the puppies to unsuspecting buyers. I told her I thought the price should be higher. She finally agreed to $150. I could tell she was getting excited, because she had finally found a "really small male" for her female. Finally, I let loose on the jerk. I couldn't believe it. :34: She still tried to convince me to let her use Bingo as stud, offering me more money depending on the number of pups she got. I finally told her it didn't matter because Bingo had been neutered when he was 6 months old. She looked at him, called me a B@#$*! and stomped off.

Another note and then I will shut up. I always wanted a yorkie from the time I was a little girl. I finally got two, Jack and Bingo. That was 9 years ago and I love them more than I can say, BUT they are an excellent example of why you should only buy from a reputable breeder. I learned my lesson.

Some people just don't get it. I think he is cute though. Where did you get him from? (if you don't mind me asking)

Oh my God, that's SHOCKING!! What's wrong with people? People like that stupid hag are the reason that we animal lovers are fighting a losing battle and forever will be. They just couldn't care less about anything but money and their own selfish selves.

Grrrrr! I'm completely mad on your behalf.

She'll only go and do the same thing to someone else who isn't a responsible pet owner like you, and likes the sound of $100 for nothing but letting their dog have a quick humpyhooha.

Animals don't stand a chance as long as there are people like her around. :(

Thanks for telling her where to go! :)

I don't mind telling you I was dumb 9 years ago and bought Bingo and his brother from a woman that someone told me about that bred yorkies. I went to see her and she had two left. She made me wash my hands before even letting me near them, made sure I wasn't sick, grilled me like all good breeders should and spent over two hours telling me specifics about what the pups had been eating, that they had never sat foot on the ground, insisting on calling my vet to check on me, etc. She showed me the parents, from another room, (CLUE!!!) and told me they already had their summer hair cuts (CLUE!!!!). Jack has some blue hair, but it is thin and sparse and short and isn't as noticeable from a distance. He, too, looks like he has a haircut. I suspect the parents were thin also, but she wouldn't let me close to them because she said they weren't friendly with strangers.

Jack and Bingo came with AKC papers and I did contact them with the breeder's info once I found out what was wrong with my dogs.

I'm glad you gave her what for! I also find the public asking me to allow my males to 'meet' their lovely females. I first tell them one has a genetic disease, the other bad hips, and the other bad conformation. Of coarse it's the one with the genetic disease they keep asking about, even after I tell them "he can't digest food"! Idiots. I'd just walk away, but they find me at home, and park in my driveway! Drives me nuts.

Aww Alicia, you weren't dumb 9 years ago, we do learn as we get older what to look out for in life. You have two beautiful boys that is being loved every day by you. You could of sent them back to the breeders but you have given them a great life. They are better off with you!
